Holden On

Over the next two years, Holden fights to keep his mental illness hidden as he morphs from a beloved, small town football player to a lost, self-medicating prophet. Based on a true story, filmmaker Tamlin Hall weaves audiences through Holden’s harrowing tale in this narrative film set in the early 1990s.

USArtists International Evaluation
|
|
Mid Atlantic is happy to share the recently completed evaluation of MAAF’s USArtists International (USAI) program. The evaluation covers the program from its inception in 2006 through 2017. During that time period, USAI has provided more than $5 million in support of 454 artists and performance groups performing at over 600 festivals in 84 countries.
USAI supports performances by U.S. artists at significant international festivals and performing arts marketplaces outside the United States and its territories. The program supports the engagements of exemplary solo artists and ensembles across all performing arts disciplines including dance, music, theater, multidisciplinary work, and folk/traditional arts.
Led by WolfBrown, the evaluation was commissioned with three objectives in mind:
- Assess the work USAI has done over the course of its twelve-year existence,
- Determine the impact the program has had, both on international cultural exchange and on the careers of grantees; and,
- Take stock of the current conditions of international touring and festival participation for U.S. artists.
