Southern Exposure: Performing Arts of Latin America Presenter Funding
Christiane Jatahy's Julia will tour the U.S. in spring 2016 through the Southern Exposure program.
Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, is pleased to announce that Southern Exposure: Performing Arts of Latin America will continue providing fee subsidies of up to 40% of eligible expenses to nonprofit presenters nationwide who book Latin American artists from the curated Southern Exposure roster. For information on how to receive funding, review the 2016-2017 program guidelines. The Southern Exposure: Performing Arts of Latin America artist roster will be announced in December.

Filmmaker Jonathan Gruber is currently touring the mid-Atlantic region with his film Miriam Beerman:Expressing the Chaos.
Don't miss this opportunity to be considered for the 2016-2017 season of On Screen/In Person, which tours independent American filmmakers to communities across the mid-Atlantic region to screen their recent work and increase accessibility and appreciation for film through direct audience engagement. Filmmakers residing anywhere in the United States or its territories may now submit their films for consideration. Regional nonprofit venues and arts organizations may also participate in the program by serving as host sites for the touring filmmakers through a partnership with the Foundation. The application deadline for both filmmaker and host sites is December 11, 2015. USArtists International Guidelines Revised

USArtists International supports performances by American artists at important cultural festivals and performing arts marketplaces worldwide. The Round II deadline for USArtists International is December 4, 2015 for projects taking place between March 15, 2016 and March 14, 2017. All applicants are strongly encouraged to review the revised guidelines to verify eligibility before beginning the online application. Please note that all Round II letters of invitation from festivals and required certification sheets must now be received by Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation by December 11, 2015. Questions? State Consortia Meet Throughout Mid-Atlantic Region
In October and November state consortia of presenters in Delaware, New York, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania met to network, learn, and discuss collaborative projects for the upcoming season. MAAF Program Officer, Michelle Grove attended each meeting to meet with presenters and share resources and information about MAAF funding opportunities for the 2016-2017 season.
