Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Announces Grants to
Delaware Presenters through Delaware Performing Arts Presenters Initiative

Baltimore, MD - June 20, 2013 - Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation has awarded six grants to Delaware arts presenters through the Delaware Performing Arts Presenters Initiative program. The Foundation, in partnership with the Delaware Division of the Arts offers this special initiative to help defray costs related to the presentation of touring performing artists. Proposed artists must be from the mid-Atlantic region (DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, USVI, VA, and WV), but outside of Delaware, or from outside of the United States. The Delaware Performing Arts Presenters Initiative encourages Delaware presenters to diversify their programming and reach new audiences.

Delaware grantees include:

Coastal Concerts presenting Brasil Guitar Duo, Brazil, November 15-16, 2013 and the Danish String Quartet, Denmark, February 7-8, 2014

> The Freeman Stage presenting O Sole Trio, New York, July 19, 2013 and Franc D'Ambrosio, New York, August 3, 2013

> Lewes Public Library presenting Brown Box Theatre Project, Maryland, September 21, 2013

> University of Delaware presenting FLUX Quartet, New York, February 21, 2014

Please contact the venues directly for information on dates, times, and tickets.

Guidelines for the 2014-2015 Delaware Performing Arts Presenters Initiative program will be available here in late fall 2013.

The Delaware Performing Arts Presenters Initiative program is made possible by funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program.
