French-American Jazz Exchange Tours Support Available

Fee support is available to presenters based in the mid-Atlantic region (DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, USVI, VA, and WV) that book any of the following FAJE ensembles for engagements taking place between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016. Cedric Hanriot and trumpeter Jason Palmer; trumpeter Darius Jones with vocalist Emilie Lesbros; drummer John Hollenbeck and saxophonist Alban Darche; and pianist Laurent Coq and saxophonist Walter Smith III.

Mid Atlantic Tours 2015-2016 Roster Now Booking!

MAAF has announced the roster for its 2015-2016 Mid Atlantic Tours program. Fee support is available to presenters in DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, USVI, VA, and WV booking the following artists for engagements: The Crooked Road, De Temps Antan, Indian Ink Theatre Company, No BS! Brass Band, SYBARITE5, Teatro Hugo e Ines, and Vertigo Dance Company.

ArtsCONNECT Guidelines and Application Now Available!
Guidelines and an online application for ArtsCONNECT, a program supporting projects developed by presenter consortia that include both public performances and complementary activities, are now available. The application submission deadline for the 2015-2016 ArtsCONNECT program is Friday, March 13, 2015. Program guidelines and application information is available here

French-American Jazz Exchange 2014-2015 Grants Announced

MAAF and FACE Foundation have announced five grants totaling $122,600 in support of the 2014-2015 FAJE program. Funded projects include:  Frank Woeste with Dave Douglas, Nicole Mitchell with Sylvain Kassap, Somi with Herve Samb, Steve Lehman with Maciek Lasserre, and Yosvany Terry with Baptiste Trotignon.
