<description>The Mid Atlantic Folk and Traditional Forum serves to further the exchange of information and ideas concerning folk and traditional arts across the region. Essays written by regional folklorists, community scholars, traditional artists, and friends of the field are e-mailed monthly to over 300 individuals throughout the mid-Atlantic.
Topics range across the folklore spectrum to include essays on material culture, comparative ethnography, popular culture, public heritage, ethnomusicology, narrative/storytelling, immigration, and occupational folklore.
