PennPAT Workshops and Roster Artists Retreat
Increasing opportunities for Pennsylvania’s finest performing artists

PennPAT Workshops
Each year, usually in the spring, PennPAT provides training sessions focused on marketing or tour management issues, which are open to all Pennsylvania performing artists.  Our goal is to provide professional development for both PennPAT roster artists and artists that may apply for the roster in the future, to help them develop the administrative/marketing skills necessary to succeed in the touring marketplace.  These sessions are usually offered in at least two or three locations across the state, and we usually charge a nominal fee to cover some of the expenses.  Click here for a list of upcoming PennPAT workshops.

In addition, PennPAT provides free Roster Application Workshops in a variety of locations across Pennsylvania each spring.  These workshops are intended to provide information about the program and the roster application process.  For a list of upcoming free roster application workshops, click here, then scroll to the bottom of the page.

PennPAT Roster Artists Retreat
The PennPAT Roster Artists Retreat is a two-day retreat in central Pennsylvania, designed to provide a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for networking and learning, to build a community of touring artists, and to foster collaborations.  The retreat is open only to PennPAT roster artists.  It includes group sessions and individual consultations, as well as plenty of free time for building relationships.  PennPAT provides lodging, food, transportation and materials at no cost to the roster artist participants.  The retreat was initially developed in response to feedback from a 1999 PennPAT program evaluation, which indicated a need for touring artists to connect and learn from each other, and also a need for more advanced professional development for those artists not in the early stages of their careers.
