Jazz Touring Network Sessions
Bi-annual meetings are the primary vehicles used by the Jazz Touring Network for professional development, peer mentoring, facilitating collaboration, and building and sustaining relationships among its membership. Network sessions are held at different sites across the mid-Atlantic region and are often scheduled in conjunction with opportunities to attend jazz performances. Meetings include workshops and presentations by experts in their respective fields on subjects relevant to the presentation of jazz, including audience development, booking, corporate sponsorship, jazz programming and aesthetics, marketing and promotion, and technology. All professional development sessions are offered free-of-charge. The Foundation reimburses all network members for travel expenses related to attendance at the meetings. Presenters that are not members of the network wishing to attend the bi-annual meetings are invited at their own expense, but not charged for professional development workshops or seminars.
