Millennium Project

Artists & Communities: America Creates for the Millennium was a national artist-in-residence program whose creative phase ended in May 2001. Artists & Communities: America Creates for the Millennium placed some of the nations’ finest artists in long-term residencies in 56 different communities across the United States - one in each state and jurisdiction.

Mid Atlantic has published a book that takes you through the entire project. Artists & Communities: America Creates for the Millennium is a closed program. The Foundation will not be making any additional grants in this program.
