The BNY Mellon Jazz 2011 Living Legacy Award
sponsored by The Bank of New York Mellon

The BNY Mellon Jazz 2011 Living Legacy Award honoring Phil Woods took place on Friday, October 14, 2011 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.   Prior to the Award ceremony, event guests enjoyed a performance by BNY Mellon Jazz 2010 Living Legacy Awardee Roy Haynes in the Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theater. Following the concert, guests adjourned to the Kennedy Center Jazz Club for the Award presentation to Mr. Woods and a celebratory reception.
